That’s why one of my commitments is to support various charities and community groups that I feel are making a difference for the generations to come. Here are a few that I am actively working with and support today.
Altrusa exists to enrich the lives of women and children through promoting literacy, education and leadership. This local clubs supports various projects throughout the year like Share-A-Story, YWCA Baby Shower, Bowls for Babies, All-American Girl Tea Party.
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice. Working in nearly 100 countries around the world. One way you can get involved in World Vision projects is by sponsoring a child.
Hope’s Journey was founded in 2011 by a group of committed individuals who believed that education, health and nourishment are the foundational rights of every person. Hope’s Journey is focused on collaborating with other non-profits around the world to provide a holistic, sustainable solution that educates, nourishes and empowers vulnerable children and their families. Their goal is to grow the next generation of leaders who will make an impact in their villages, countries and the world. Currently Hope’s Journey is working to secure land in Ghana, Africa in order to build a campus of learning, living and leadership.
The YWCA Cass Clay is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. They have a variety of programs to help women and children at various stages such as emergency shelter, transitional housing, education and employment, child care, etc.
